Clinical Trial Manager
Carlene is the Trial Manager for the NICE FIT trial, on one year secondment from Guys and St. Thomas NHS Foundation Trust in the role of Cross Cutting Research Delivery Manager currently managing Division 1, a position held since February 2016. Prior to Carlene’s current role, she worked as the Research, Innovation and Development Manager and Trust Lead Research Nurse for the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust; a post she held for four years (2012-2016). Prior to that role the Lead Research Nurse for the London South (CLRN). Carlene has worked in research since 2005, prior to joining South London, Carlene is a trained Respiratory and Intensive care nurse and has worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry phases 1-V as well as late phase trials, in the roles of Project Manager, Lead and Senior Research Nurse, Clinical Research Nurse Trainer, Trouble-shooter.
Miss Christine Nangendo
Clinical Trial Co-ordinator
Christine has previously worked as Clinical trial co-ordinator at The Royal Marsden Hospital where she would ensure that the regulatory aspects of clinical trials were maintained. Her responsibilities were to set-up clinical trials; liaise with study teams and sponsors to ensure trials were set up in a timely manner and also lead on the processing of amendments.
Mr SaidYousuf ahmadi
Clinical Trial Administrator
Prior to joining the NICE FIT trial, SaidYousuf was an MDT assistant for Cancer Services at Croydon University Hospital. Before joining the NHS in 2017, he was in role as an Assistant Manager in Boots Alliance from 2015-2017. He is a Graduate in Biomedical Science BSc (Hons) and Cancer Biology Masters MSc from Kingston University.
